Which data do I process?

Why do I process this data?

I process the data for your appointment and payment because it is needed to fulfil our agreement. What you tell me about yourself, I only process because you choose to share it with me. I never use your data for advertising and I do not sell it.

What you share stays between us

I do not share anything you tell me with others. I do not record sessions. If I make notes for myself so that a next session connects well, I keep them secure and destroy them no later than one year after our last session. Would you like that to happen sooner? Just ask.

How long do I keep your data?

Who do I share data with?

I do not sell your data or give it to others. For my work I do use a few services that process data on my behalf:

Some of these companies are based in the United States. I choose services that comply with European data protection rules, such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

Cookies and visitor statistics

This website does not place cookies and does not use analytics or advertising tools. The fonts come from Bunny Fonts, a European service that does not use cookies. If you click through to my calendar on Cal.com or to WhatsApp, their own privacy rules apply there.

Security

I take appropriate measures to protect your data, such as secure connections, strong passwords and two-step verification on my accounts. Only I have access to your data.

Your rights

You have the right to:

To do so, email info@stopliefdesverdriet.nl. I will respond within one month.

A complaint?

Not happy with how I handle your data? Please let me know first, and we will look for a solution together. You always have the right to file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.

Changes

If the way I work changes, I will update this privacy statement. The date at the top shows when it was last updated. If the Dutch and English versions differ, the Dutch version applies.
